Prequalification Overview
The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) invites eligible parties to submit a Prequalification Form as part of Tranche 2 of the GSESP. The Prequalification Form is used to determine eligibility to participate in the competitive solicitation for fixed incentives supporting transmission-scale energy storage systems.
Assesses project maturity, feasibility, and readiness to ensure selected projects can achieve commercial operation on schedule.
Supports projects that contribute to New Jersey’s long-term energy storage goals.
